AUGUST 2012
What a joy it is to place on record significant progress for The Queens and Kings school in Nigeria. We write to let you know of our deep gratitude for the substantial progress we have been able to make, because of the generosity and unselfish love of the UK Christian Science Churches and Societies, as well as your individual donations which have made this possible.
Despite the negativity which mortal mind has thrown up your love of Principle and compassion has resulted in victory, and the unfoldment of good in Nigeria. Thank you for your prayers, commitment and financial support which are very much appreciated
Those who have been supporting us for the last ten years will know that we have been waiting for a provision of a connecting road from the main Airport Trunk Road to the school. This week we have received confirmation that the last contract has been issued by the Nigerian Development Council (NDC) to complete our road from the T junction to the Airport Road roundabout. THIS IS VERY GOOD NEWS and, when completed, it will make a major difference to the school. See the attached photograph of the new access road.
We are asking for your prayerful support that we may quickly see the final completion of the ten year access road project
by the NDC, including tarmacking. Also the Mustard Seed project - the completion of the teachers' accommodation, where we need further financial support
We are also very grateful to those who have helped us pay the monthly salary bills at the school, this has been truly magnificent. All donations should be sent to Ros and Trevor Leach, 38 Reayrt y Chrink, Port Erin, Isle of Man IM9 6BF.
