"An Introduction to Biblical Hebrew"
Instructor: Galen Goldsmith, M.A.R., M.Phil.

Description: A 5-session series of classes held on Saturdays: July 17, 24, 31 and August 7 and 14, 2010. An Introduction to Biblical Hebrew: We will be using citations from the weekly Bible Lesson as the basic text for learning about ancient Hebrew (including the alphabet) over a five week course. After this introduction, regular tuition using a textbook can be arranged for those who wish to study the language in depth.

Your speaker:

Galen Goldsmith has a Master of Arts in Religion from Illiff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado and  Master of Arts in Philosophy in Classical Hebrew from Cambridge University in England.  She is proficient in the three Biblical languages, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic; Galen has read the entire Bible in its original languages; and reads the Bible Lessons without any translation!  In addition to getting these degrees she has served as a Christian Science nurse and is now devoting full time to prayer and study.  She is class instructed and a member of The Mother Church and of the Cambridge branch church.
