an interview with Richard Biever from our September 4, 2004 "First
Saturdays" broadcast The Artists Heidi Biever (Woman 3) starred as Audrey in the European tour of Little Shop of Horrors. Regionally, she played the roles of Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and featured roles in the revues Side by Side by Sondheim and Jerry's Girls. She and her husband Richard have two incredible children, Marshall and Madeline. Heidi also maintains a spiritual healing practice based on Mary Baker Eddy's book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
Keith Spencer (Man 2) has had the honor of singing back-up vocals for such artists as Roberta Flack, Rosemary Clooney, and Sandi Patty. He's performed in many professional companies ranging from Philadelphia's Prince Theater to the Broadway tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Music of the Night with Betty Buckley and Melissa Manchester. Prior to touring, Keith was a national semi-finalist in the American Traditions Competition hosted in Savannah, Georgia. Most recently, Keith played Coalhouse Walker, Jr. in Ragtime. Ann Van Cleave (Woman 1) Broadway: Cyrano!, Showboat, Ragtime, Kiss Me Kate and A Class Act. National Tour: Showboat as Ellie. Original pre-Broadway workshops: A Christmas Carol, Footloose and Big. Featured soloist with the Dayton and New Haven Symphony orchestras. Two beautiful sons with husband Carroll, Connor and Taylor. Dedicated to Susan Gurian in loving memory of Doug Gurian. Sally Wilfert (Woman 2) Broadway: Assassins, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, King David. Other NY: Jubilee, Sondheim Tribute (both at Carnegie Hall), West Side Story Suite (Lincoln Center), So Long 174th Street (American Place Theatre). Regionally: Baltimore Center Stage, Fulton Opera House, Hartford Theatre Works, Connecticut Grand Opera, Cazenovia Theatre, Helen Hayes P.A.C., and Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati in such roles as Polly Peachum in The Three Penny Opera, Kitty in Joyful Noise, Kim in Personals, Laura in Goblin Market, and the Witch in Into the Woods. Richard Biever (Writer, composer, arranger, musical director) has conducted musicals around the world, including West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, Annie Get Your Gun, Beehive, Oil City Symphony, La Cage Aux Folles, and Evita. He has arranged/orchestrated/composed for college and university ensembles, original musicals, and regional theaters. He currently maintains a spiritual healing practice based on the book, Science and Health. |
