Carole Baldwin began her study of voice at age twelve and graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in voice performance. She has enjoyed singing and playing music from the medieval, renaissance, and baroque periods; singing operatic and art songs; and performing many kinds of instruments from harpsichord and recorder to dance bands. She has especially loved the role soloist for many Christian Science churches on both coasts. She owes special gratitude to Suzanne New, her life-long teacher and friend.
