introduction: I have had an exotic life, the sort of life where adventure finds me. For example, I wound up spending the night inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt, recorded my music, and composed a ballet from that inspiration. Before Children (BC) I was a peace activist in the Middle East, bringing conflicting peoples together using the common tones of music. Can't stand small talk, it exhausts me. (One of my favorite quotes: Small minds talk about people, bigger minds talk about things, and great minds talk about ideas.) I have survived more than a few 'fiery furnace' experiences, and have much to be grateful for ... every day. |

introduction: People have commented that I'm a happy person to be around and that I make them feel comfortable. A career in sales has taught me that it takes a sincere desire in others and good listening skills to create trust with those we meet. I've been single for so long, I don't even want to tell you for fear you'll think something is wrong with me! I just wanted to wait until my daughter was grown before I allowed other people into our home. I'm honestly not sure I'm looking for marriage. Okay. I said it. I don't even have much faith and desire for the institution. However, I do feel certain that there is a person out there who wants to have a faithful girlfriend who likes to snow ski, throw the football, go to sporting events and then still likes to have his girl get all dressed up! I love my skin care and make up and wouldn't even river raft down a Montana stream without my lip gloss on! It's fun. I've been told that I'm not emotionally high maintenance in a relationship. That's all a matter of opinion, but having been single for a long time, I think I'm more likely to be very independent. Yet, there's still a little part of my heart that would like a companion. It would be fun to have a good friend to go to dinner with and once in awhile a C.S. lecture or maybe even visit Mrs. Eddy's home out East. I'm not a life long Christian Scientist, far from it...started in Sunday School when I was 15. I love it. It's in every fiber of my being. It doesn't matter if you just picked up the books or are a 3rd generation C.S.er. I'd just be grateful to date someone who knows the Scientific Statement of Being!
