introduction: I communicate with a straightforward style, very honest person. I like the idea of two independent people creating a committed relationship together for companionship, mutual metaphysical support, and affection. I like to get out and do things, enjoy the finer things of life: fine dining, traveling, dancing, dressing up and going to parties. With this said, know that I am an introvert...! I love being by myself, or with a loved one, in activity, and in silence. (hmmm, maybe THAT's why I've been single so long!!!) Can't stand small talk, it exhausts me. (One of my favorite quotes: Small minds talk about people, bigger minds talk about things, and great minds talk about ideas.) What I consider one of the biggest riches of my life, is a large circle of loving, spiritual-minded friends, and my daughter, 15, who is more a partner, than my progeny. I have survived more than a few 'fiery furnace' experiences, and have much to be grateful for ... every day. |

introduction: Hi there!
I’m a California transplant from the
Midwest. I am actively involved in church,
wearing a number of different volunteer
hats. As a class taught, life-long Christian
Scientist, I daily work to recognize and
demonstrate the truths I’ve learned.
Life is good and I always strive to see
the glass half-full. Like everyone, I have
many layers. I love to laugh and learn,
help others feel at ease, have conversations
that range from discussions about music
and the latest movies, to comparing/contrasting
political leaders, world events and issues,
to deeper, more spiritual thoughts about
“what it's all about". Although
I live in a populated area, I find peace
and have insightful conversations during
my hikes in nearby open spaces and local
cafes. I am new to gardening, like to cook
WITH someone/for others, sing, and am always
up for new adventures, whether it is exploring
a new ethnic restaurant or backpacking overseas.
I cherish my family and friends, and the
lessons and experiences that I've encountered
both spiritual and tangible. These are my
treasures. Some qualities I value and strive
to express are integrity, humor, intelligence,
tolerance, compassion, creativity, spontaneity,

My family is spectacular, I love the arts, animals, anything to do with water, I'm PADI certified. It has been a few years since I've been diving. I'd like to go on a shark dive and swim with dolphins and I want to try parasailing. If ever given the opportunity I would go on a 2 or 3 mile dive and see the critters down at the very bottom of the sea. |

introduction: OK - this site's "Sneak Peek Week" obviously grabbed me... I am a "First" generation Christian Scientist... Class taught... I was introduced to CS in college, although my spiritual quest began years earlier. I made it my own upon the arrival of my oldest daughter, who was given absolutely no hope for survival at birth. What an initiation as well as a complete demonstration! I honestly could not begin to imagine my life without it! |

My family moved to the Boston area for school, leaving me quite confused about the difference between "pop" and "soda". I grew up spending summers on Cape Cod, covered in salt and sea air. I attended an excellent college in the area and even managed to graduate from it. From there my career in high tech kicked off along with the travel bug. I lived in NJ, NY, Toronto, Chicago (again) and spent years in CA. Family brought me back to the Boston area, so here I am today, thriving, ready and waiting to meet you!
