| Description |
Participants will read from the May 12 Bible Lesson, “Adam and Fallen Man,” and receive suggestions on how understanding and reading can be strengthened by applying “Principles of Expressive Reading.”
This is a follow-up to Don Feldheim’s March 16 seminar on “Expressive Reading and Studying” at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association. This May 12 workshop is primarily for those who attended the March seminar, but, others are most welcome, space permitting.
Comments from March 16 seminar:
• “Tons of useful info; fun and inspiring, too.”
• “…many helpful [reading] tips; discovered tools I will apply to my own silent study for spiritual growth….”
• “…daily reading of the Bible Lesson will be opened up to better understanding than ever before! …discovered techniques to improve reading aloud, as well!
• “…objectives…all met, pressed down, and overflowing.”
• “Wonderful workshop!...inspiring, uplifting, practical.”
• Liked ideas about “…spiritual individuality in reading; being aware of animal magnetism and barriers; role of Reader and congregation.”
• “…tackled real issues…able and willing to answer all questions….”
• “…learned how Mrs. Eddy’s writings and the Bible address reading aloud; how to distinguish between personality and individuality expressed by Readers.”
