CSDirectory.com's worldwide, eMail-based Bible Study Discussion Group

We invite you to participate in our worldwide, eMail-based Bible Study Discussion Group

Description:
This group discusses the Bible in relation to the Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson. Share inspiration, ask questions. Join people all over the world who are digging deeper into the study of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.

Join the CSBibleStudy Group
Please read the "Rules and Regs" and "How it Works" (below) before joining.

Rules and Regs
This is a private online group, so you have to be a member to post and read messages. You'll fit in perfectly if you can agree to following The Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) and the spirit of Mary Baker Eddy's A Rule for Motives and Acts.

You don't have to be a member of the Christian Science church to join, just have a desire to learn more and talk about the Bible, Science and Health and Christian Science.

How it works
The group centers around the study of the weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson. You may read this lesson online at Spirituality.com or you may subscribe to the Christian Science Quarterly in one of its formats to receive the lesson in print or audio format at your home.

The online group is run from the Yahoo! Groups site, so in order to view and post messages, you'll need a Yahoo! ID. You can get one free at Yahoo.com.

Note: if you don’t have a Yahoo! ID, this link will take you to a form to create one.

When creating your Yahoo! ID, you'll have a few choices:

1) Email notification
Use an existing email address, or create a new one. If you want to use an existing email, just fill it in at the appropriate place and uncheck the box offering a free Yahoo! address.

2) Receiving messages from the group
You have three options for receiving messages, so just pick the one you most prefer. You'll be able to change this option later if you want.

Individual Emails
You'll receive an email every time someone posts a message to the group, including the reading assignment for the day email. You'll get a lot of emails, but it will be easier to reply and you'll be able to do it sooner.

Digest Emails
You'll receive all of that day's messages, including the reading assignment for the day, in one long email. You'll only get one daily email, but in order to reply, you'll need to change the subject line of the email and delete all extraneous information from the message. (This keeps the email from getting unnecessarily long.)

No Emails
In order to access the messages for that day, you can go to the group's message archive page. You'll be able to reply to postings right there on the page.

Once you've filled in the form and received your Yahoo! ID, you're in! Please feel free to participate, enjoy the reading, and post your questions and inspiration. You'll make many new friends and deepen your spirituality. Thanks for joining!

A comment from a discussion group member...

"I am so thankful for each of you who contribute to this list.  ... I have found that the lesson sermon has opened up for me, and I am taking away more and more each week.  For me, this list is demonstration that God is with me always, leading, guiding, supporting and teaching."
