Curious
about Mark and Marilyn? Mark is a life-long, fourth
generation, Class-taught Christian Scientist and Mother Church
member. Mark has been very active in the local Christian Science
community - having served as Chairman of Board of a local Branch
Church, past-President of the Board of Directors of El Dorado
Vista (a Christian Science Nursing facility), and past-Chairman
of the Phoenix Metro Joint Broadcast Commitee. He also serves
as an Assistant Committee on Publication. Mark was the originator
of CSeNews.com and served as Editor/Webmaster for its first
six years. Mark had the opportunity of visiting with the entire
Christian Science Board of Directors in November 2004 which
yielded a very pleasant and supportive conversation about this
web site. He had another positive meeting with the Christian
Science Board of Directors in November 2005. Mark was a member
of the faculty for the Principia Adult Continuing Education
(PACE) "Summer Sessons" in 2006 and 2007. He is also in the public
Christian Science practice.
Marilyn
was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She has been
in Christian Science most of her life and is Class-taught and
a Mother Church member. While in South Africa, she was very
active in her local Branch Church. Marilyn is active in helping
Mark with CSDirectory.com and administers CSDirectory.com's "Ring
A Reading Buddy" program - a worldwide "care
committee" type activity where Christian Scientists help
other Christian Scientists by reading to them.
Mark
and Marilyn live in Phoenix, Arizona and are members of the Christian
Science Society in San Juan Capistrano, California.
